The International Criminal Court (ICC) denounced this Friday that the cybersecurity incident it detected five weeks ago was a “targeted and sophisticated attack with the objective of espionage” and a “serious attempt to undermine the mandate” of the court, and announced that it has reinforced the protection of its computer systems.


The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) investigates a case of digital violence allegedly perpetrated by Diego “N”, former student of the Higher School of Commerce and Administration (ESCA), of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). The person involved would have downloaded photographs of students from the school without authorization to modify them with artificial intelligence (AI) systems to sell them as explicit content through digital platforms.


Hackers are using a leaked toolset used to create DIY versions of the popular LockBit ransomware, making it easier for even amateur cybercriminals to target common vulnerabilities.


Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Cloudflare revealed last week that they faced massive, record-breaking distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks against their cloud infrastructures in August and September.
