Mexican companies with annual revenues of more than $100 million should be on the lookout for a cybercrime campaign, researchers said Thursday.


In 2024, more than 50 countries around the world will vote in national elections, making it the largest election year in history. But as activists, lawmakers and journalists have raised the alarm about the potential for election-related disinformation, misinformation and violence, many platforms have laid off the very workers and teams responsible for keeping social media safe.


The MX Internet Association (AIMX) took oath to its Board of Directors. This council is chaired by NYCE, through Pablo Corona Fraga.

With the room of the Permanent Commission of the Senate of the Republic as headquarters, accompanied by members, legislators and business leaders; Senator Alejandra Lagunes Soto Ruiz took oath from the AIMX Board of Directors.


Job offers related to artificial intelligence (AI) have increased by 95% in Mexico during the last year. Of the 205,038 vacancies published on sites such as LinkedIn or Infojobs, at least 7,254 are within the field of AI and data science, according to a study carried out by the Knowledge Observatory of the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).
