At the beginning of last year, the National Artificial Intelligence Alliance (ANIA), coordinated by Senator Alejandra Lagunes, was also presented in the Senate of the Republic, with the purpose of creating a legislative framework that allows regulating and strengthening the AI ecosystem in Mexico . And at the end of last year, we reached a point of no return with the departure of ChatGPT. Although this is just one of the many applications of AI, it is already being integrated as a common aspect of society.
The change will be so great that the global AI market is expected to reach a value of 1.35 trillion dollars in 2030. And that by 2030, the growth of AI technology would have the potential to contribute 15.7 trillion dollars to the world economy.
It is time for us in Mexico to speed up the pace to define how we want to coexist with the great changes in technology. It is in this context that a collaboration agreement will soon be signed between the Internet MX Association and the ANIA. AI will be a great tool that will impact all industries positively if we know how to use it, how to encourage its development and how to regulate it.
